Follow the step-by-step instructions below to activate your QuickBooks Desktop license. Select your operating system platform to get started.
Navigate to the Intuit download center and download the QuickBooks Desktop for Windows installer (.exe file).

Right-click the installer file and select "Run as Administrator". Allow any UAC prompts to proceed.
When prompted, select Express Installation and enter your License Number and Product Number from your order email exactly as provided.

Allow the installation to complete. QuickBooks will launch automatically when finished.
In QuickBooks, go to Help > Register QuickBooks. Choose Register offline and paste your Activation Serial Key into the text field. Click Activate to complete registration.

You will see a confirmation screen. Your QuickBooks Desktop is now fully activated and ready to use — no internet required after this step.
Download the QuickBooks Desktop for Mac installer (.dmg file) from the Intuit download portal.

Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. A new window will open — drag the QuickBooks icon into your Applications folder.
Open QuickBooks from Applications. On first launch, enter your License Number and Product Number when prompted.

Go to QuickBooks menu > Register QuickBooks. Choose offline registration and enter your Activation Serial Key.
